lower back pain and lower abdominal pain?
my friend is a male and is 23 years old. he carried this heavy object last week and now has lower back pain for a few days now. but then two days ago his lower right abdominal area started to hurt too and he thinks that they might be connected.
what could it be and if he would go to the hospital, about how much would all the tests cost?
This could be something like muscle strain (an example only) which can also affect abdominal muscles. If he went to the hospital to be evaluated and they ran tests like an MRI (just using this as an example only) it can cost several hundred dollars.
For those that are financially strapped though I would recommend that they check with the city health dept to see if they offer a free clinic that might be able to help evaluate the situation. If not check with a Medical School because they also may have resources to help those financially strapped but need medical care.
