Stomach Pain Left Upper Quadrant

Does this sound like a gallbladder attack?

Female, 35 years old. For the past couple of weeks, I have had occasional pain in my right upper quadrant (mild to moderate), sometimes radiating toward the left side of my abdomen. Also lots of gas, and the attacks sometimes start after a bowel movement. I also feel as if I have mild fever. However, when the attacks go away, it’s as if I’ve never had then. This morning, though, I’ve had an attack that has lasted for four hours now. The pain is not intolerable (a little more than mild, but not yet moderate), but it is more irritating than the typical stomach bug. This is the second attack I’ve had in a week.

Additional details: My dad had his gallbladder removed several years ago.

It’s hard to say whether or not it is your gallbladder, those do sound like mild symptoms of an irritated gallbladder. If the attack is severe most people with also experience pain radiating up their chest or through their back and up to the shoulder. Either way, you should see your doctor.
