Lower Abdominal Pain Ovary

Pregnancy and hormonal recipes to take away the of birth

Do you suspect you have endometriosis or maybe that it is stopping you from becoming pregnant?  You are probably right but check the following and see if this sounds like you.

Endometriosis is a dysfunction in which the tissue lining of the uterine cavity, known as endometrium, grows outside the uterus. The tissues may spread or attach to the organs in the cavity such as the fallopian tubes or ovaries. Normally, the endometrium tissues respond to your menstrual cycle in the same way that the tissues inside the uterus respond.

At a certain point in your menstrual cycle, the tissues tend to swell and thicken. Once it is shed, it marks the beginning of your next menstrual cycle.  However, if the blood carried by the endometrial tissues fails to go elsewhere, it turns into pools of blood that usually result in inflammation and scar tissue. The scar tissues forming in the abdominal cavity may block the fallopian tubes and affect the mechanisms of ovulation. Another risk is that endometriosis may induce the formation of ovarian cysts (endometrioma), which interferes with ovulation.

Severe cases of endometriosis can cause pelvic scarring or distortion to normal pelvic anatomy. This way, it increases the risks of blockage or damage to the fallopian tube, to which the mature egg cells pass through. The condition also causes ovarian cysts to adhere more to the uterus, bowel, or pelvic walls, which usually cause infertility. Furthermore, these serious damages to the anatomy of the female reproductive organ may damage the ovaries, thereby reducing the egg quality and quantity.
The usual treatment available for cases of endometriosis associated with infertility needs to be specifically designed for the woman. The course of treatment basically depends on factors such as the stage of the dysfunction, age of the patient, length of infertility and presence of other symptoms.

Neuro-Training has been helping women with endometriosis for decades with great success. The one consistent condition found with these women was an anterior uterus that lead to a prolapsed uterine state. In other words, the uterus had fallen forward at the top and the extra weight and lack of support meant the uterus now collapses on top of itself.

This can and does create a blockage and back pressure for the circulating blood leading to congestion and the backing up of blood into the abdominal cavity in severe cases. A single cause of endometriosis is not known because it a combination of factors.

It commonly affects women in their childbearing age, which is around 20 to 35 years which correlates to their higher amounts of sex hormones. It rarely occurs on post menopausal women because their estrogen is reduced drastically. So the factors that can increase your risks of developing the dysfunction seem to be at least a combination of hormonal changes with whatever is causing the prolapsed of the uterus.

If your family’s medical history includes endometriosis, you are ten times more likely to develop the dysfunction. If you have a consistently short menstrual cycle (25 days), very heavy flow during periods, any condition that affects the cervix of vagina or a congenital anomaly in the uterus or cervix, you are likely to develop endometriosis.

The way of preventing endometriosis will be a combination just as the dysfunction arises from a combination of dysfunctions. Neuro-Training techniques to balance the neurological controls along with appropriate nutrition and finally a resetting of the uterine position may reduce the frequency of endometriosis quite severely.

The symptoms of endometriosis are enough to warrant an outpatient surgical procedure called laparoscopy to examine the insides of your abdominal cavity. So watch for symptoms such as pain in the pelvic and lower abdominal areas, abnormal menstrual bleeding, painful sexual intercourse and painful menstrual periods. In some cases, there is no pain or symptoms whatsoever, until you have a big emotional stress. This turns the dysfunction into an acute stage which will produce the symptoms.

According to the Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago, 30 to 40% of infertile women are diagnosed with endometriosis. But endometriosis does not necessarily render a woman infertile. There are usually other factors involved in the combination that would guarantee infertility.

With the research and integration of alternative medicine principles, endometriosis can be prevented and eliminated before it can stand between you and your beautiful new baby.

But what substance that usually cause heartburn? Well here’s the top 5. Drum roll please….

1. Caffeine – The top spot goes to caffeine and its derivatives, like colas, chocolates and some teas. This substances can cause the esophagus sphincter muscle to relax, thus resulting to backward flow of digestive acids.

2. Fatty Foods and Oily Foods – These substances slows down digestion because they need special enzymes that can digest them. The problem with longer digestion, foods begin to pile up in the increasing pressure to the sphincter of the esophagus and eventually give way. There goes the digestive acids again, burning the esophagus.

3. Tomatoes – Tomatoes and tomato based products also causes heartburn. This kind of foods also relaxes the sphincter of the esophagus muscles.

4. Smoking – The chemicals from puffing a stick of cigarette causes to weaken the sphincter muscle of the lower esophagus.

Abdominal Pain Implanon

should i go to hospital? i’m scared?

i know i posted this a while ago, but since then i’ve gotten really dizzy and it’s sunday so there’s no doctor’s open and i’m by myself with two kids, i’m scared something will happen. should i go to the hospital or am i just panicking?

the first week it was like a normal period, then it went for a few days, then i got it again but it didn’t feel like a proper period, it was like blood at first but for the last week it’s been like grayish brown and some bits like stringy lumps in it. i have but a bit lower than i usually get period cramps.

i’m 23 and on istin 10 for hypertension,(i’ve had high blood pressure since i was 13 so it’s nothing new) i have in but it’s been in since jan 2003, i’ve told my doc twice about the implant but she hasn’t done anything yet.

i’m just wondering is this normal? is it a period? what do i do?
thanks to everyone giving advice about nhs direct, but i live in ireland and i dont think we have that here

The blood you describe sounds quite normal – it’s what we call old blood, and that’s why it’s brown. The stringy lumps are simply dense pieces of endometrial tissue (the lining of your womb). I get the same thing sometimes. The abdominal pain is caused by your uterus contracting to push the blood out.

It’s not very common to get this kind of bleeding a week after a normal period, but it’s not unheard of and it’s usually just your uterus having a bit of a clear-out. However, if it starts happening regularly – like every month – you should see a doctor. It could be caused by the implanon.

The dizziness could be associated with your period pain, or it could be a side effect of the hypertension medication. If you are afraid that you will faint, then try sitting quietly for 15 minutes with a cup of sugary tea. Dizziness can make you feel anxious, so trying to relax should help a little. If you have any friends or family nearby who could come over and help with the kids, then you should call and ask for help.

It doesn’t sound like an ectopic pregnancy, as someone suggested, because your last period was quite recent. Usually symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy develop about five to eight weeks after the last period.

If the dizziness doesn’t go away and you are worried about the safety of your children, then go to the hospital. But in any case, you should make an appointment to see your doctor about this episode because although it’s unlikely to be serious you might need your medication adjusted a little or the implant removed.

Dry Mouth Stomach Pain Fatigue

What Causes Withdrawal Symptoms When You are Trying to Quit Smoking?

“No problem, I could quit anytime I want to”. That is the case for many smokers who believe they can quit anytime they want to as though they believe they had a magic switch to turn the nicotine off.

But when you ask them why they are not quitting, it would as if of a sudden, they’re mind starts to get creative and could punch out 101 excuses. Sounds familiar right? The reality is…

Smokers Are Addicted And Need Preparation Before Quitting!

This is because nicotine and chemicals when introduced into our body greatly affect our biological system. Smokers need preparation for quitting are because of the withdrawal symptoms.

Nicotine is a stimulant drug of which its effects where both simulation and relaxation may be felt. You see when we smoke, our body gets used to a certain alteration of conditions in our body. The brain gets used to these certain alternation very quickly even before we can notice it.

Now, there’s a new balance in the brain due to those alterations. When the timely dose of nicotine or whatever chemicals as a result of smoking is not channeled towards the brain, the brain gets upset. Hence we feel uncomfortable with different people enduring different symptoms.

Some of the withdrawal symptoms include:

•    Cravings to smoke
•    Irritation
•    Anger
•    Insomnia
•
•    Anxiety
•
•    Inability to Concentrate
•    Headache
•    Cough
•    Sore tongue and/or gums
•    Sleep Disturbances
•    Sore throat
•    Constipation, gas,
•    Tightness in the chest

Some ways that could help you with the withdrawal symptoms are:

• Wait
When it is time for you to smoke again, just wait a little while before you decide whether you want to smoke again just for about 3 to 5 minutes time. During this time of waiting, take 10 deep breaths slowly, relax yourself, also relaxing your shoulders.

• Drink Plenty Of Water
This is to help you fight off the cravings

• Become A Part Of A Community
Discuss with someone your feelings about quitting smoking. The easiest way to do that online is through forums. Exchange ideas, opinions and solutions. You’ll be surprised the insights you’ll gain through this experience.

• Exercise
I cannot emphasize how important this is, exercise is suppose to boost up your energy so that you have better preparation to fight the cravings.

• Get sufficient sleep
An excerpt from “Sleep: Essential for Optimal Health” by Drs. Robert Goldman and Ronald Klatz.

“Don’t slight sleep. It’s when you’re tired that you tend to overwork. When you’re rested you can finish the work without strain and still have energy and time left over for the rest of your life. Research shows that workers who get less than six hours of sleep a night are prone to costly accidents, poor concentration and poor performance.  Without sleep depression, anxiety and anger increase.

The quality of sleep is just as important as number of hours. If you have trouble sleeping, try going to bed earlier, before 10:00. This usually creates a deeper sleep. Prepare for deep sleep by avoiding TV and computers in the evening.”

So when you get more rest, the likelihood for the need for cigarette is reduced.

• Relaxation
Perform some night rituals such as reading a book before you go to bed or meditation to help you and your body to relax.
