Kids Stomach Pain Remedies

I did lower ab workout on Thursday and now I am having stomach pain. Could this be pulled stomach muscle?

I am a 6’1, 240 pound, smoking male. I have been trying to get back into shape the last couple of weeks and decided to do some leg raises to work the lower abs because I would like to get rid of this belly. I did 12 and was fine. I also did some crunches and 8 count bodybuilders. Everything was fine, I went to work, came played with the kids, cooked dinner and right before feeding the kids I started feeling a dull ache in my lower right abdomen. After dinner it got worse and the pain moved around to my back. It still was not severe so the next day I went to work and also still felt the dull ache. I did not feel it much while I was working, but I had to climb on something and I felt a pain in my right scrotum that I also felt in my lower abdomen. I need to have some possible diagnosis or remedy. Since I don’t have insurance and I’m the sole bread winner for a family of six I cannot afford to miss work or go in the hospital. Anyone ever had these symptoms and a cure?

More than likely, you’ve strained the muscle in your belly. Not to worry, just take it easy for a few days and you’ll be fine.
You did too much too fast, that’s why they hurt. You went from doing little or nothing to demanding that they work hard and they’re protesting.
You should be starting out a little slower and building yourself up as you go. Try doing half of your routine in the morning and the other half in the evening, or lessen the number of the reps you’re doing. As in rather than doing 3 sets of 10, try 2 sets of 7 and when you get used to that, go back to the 3 sets of 10.
Whatever you do, don’t give up, you’re on the right track regardless if you smoke or not you’re pointed in the right direction now just keep going. You’ll be fine.

Stomach Pain Lower Right Region

I think my appendix hurts when i cough?

i got a sharp pain in the lower right region of my stomach, would that be mu appendix? i also think i may have swine flu, could that be some wired sort of symptom? i am also having a difficulty breathing

Its likely the muscles your body uses for coughing simply ache from overuse. Go see a doctor as soon as possible. Feel free to go to the emergency room if it gets any worse.

Abdominal Pain Childbirth

Considering VBAC – What does natural childbirth feel like?

I had a c-section 7 years ago (emergency after 60+ hours of labor) and am considering a VBAC as the c-section was the worst experience of my life. I was in intense pain and still had abdominal pain and burning MONTHS after my c-section.

For those who have had natural childbirth, how would you rate or describe the experience? I would like to experience a vaginal delivery vs. an impersonal operating room where you are immediately seperated from the baby, etc.

Would you recommend an epidural? Did it slow or help your labor?

Any experiences or advice from those who have been there would be great. I am 17 weeks now, so I have some time, but I want to make some decisions…
By the way – my first c-section was due to poor fetal position and fetal distress…my labor was SLOWLY progressing but my son had had enough!

I had a vaginal delivery and wanted so badly to go without an epidural and I almost did.. but I was having a hard time breathing through my contractions so I gave in and got the epidural anyway.. and to be honest, I’m glad I did. I tore pretty bad and had to get stitches.. and I was able to sit back and just enjoy the experience.. Oh.. and after I got the epidural I pretty much went from 5 to 10 cms in like an hour.. the nurse said that it was probably because I was more relaxed.

Abdominal Pain Backache

What are vaginal pimples?

I have a single small smooth bump on my vulva below my skin. I just noticed it last night. It does not itch nor does it burn. It is also not discolored. Could this be herpes? I have also had lower abdominal pain and lower backache. Could these be related?
Okay but does this sound like a vaginal pimple or something else?

You do get vaginal pimples. They are just like the pimples on your face. Just pop it. But once you do make sure you keep it really clean. you don’t want to get pee or feces inside it.

Abdominal Pain Defined

Abdominal Training To Develop Rock-Hard 6 Pack Abs

Everybody wants great abs, like those six-packs you see on some athletes and celebrities. To get six pack abs that you can be proud of you need to exercise and eat right. Whether or not you desire impressive abs to show-off, abdominal exercises can yield great health benefits. It strengths the stomach muscle groups, aids in weight loss and improves your over all fitness level.

Functions of the abdominal muscles

Ab muscle groups are the midsection muscle groups, they are found connecting the thorax and the pelvis.  There are four distinct muscle groups that make up the abdominals: the upper rectus abdominus, lower rectus abdominus, the inner oblique along with the external oblique. The stomach muscle groups support our back and spine when we bend and lift objects. They assist us to breathe properly as well as serve a most fundamental purpose, keeping our intestines as well as organs situated in the stomach securely.

Types of abdominal exercises

If you are flabby, the initial step to getting great abs is not ab exercises or spot reduction (which many in the health and fitness field believe does not work), but fat reduction. You ought to get rid of the layer of fat around your middle if exercise is to help define and build your abdominal muscles. Once you have dealt with the extra fat, you should now really get into your abdominal training routine, just bear in mind that no particular exercise will work every one of the various ab muscles.

The best types of abdominal training workouts are those that push the sternum (breastbone) in the direction of your pelvis, consequently the popularity of crunches, sit-ups along with leg raises in abs exercises}.

Some ab exercises worth trying are:

1) Crunches

There are a lot of diverse kinds of crunches that may be used in ab workout plans. A few of the most common ones are: incline crunches, floor crunches, reverse crunches and also cable crunches (both one arm as well as two-arm).  The easiest crunch is this:

Lie down flat on your back on the floor; bend your knees; place your hands behind your neck to provide support for your head; lift your head and shoulders off the ground, about 1 or 2  inches is excellent; hold for 5 seconds and then lower yourself. Repeat this until you can’t carry out any more

2) Hip along with Leg Raises

Leg plus hip raises are terrific for abdominal training because they work the muscles of the midsection. Some variation of leg raises are hanging leg and knee raises and as well medicine ball leg raises. The lying leg raise is easy to do:

Lie on your back on the floor; support your buttocks with your palms; at this point lift your legs 10 to twelve inches off the ground; maintain this position; attempt to elevate your legs an additional six or so inches using only your lower ab muscle groups.
(This exercise is easier and less stressful on the back for persons who are not extremely heavy)

3) Sit-ups

While there is controversy regarding the benefits of sit-ups for abs training doing some variations, such as a chair sit-up will  work the abdominals.

For most abdominal work outs you only need to do 2  or 3 sets of approximately ten to fifteen reps. To safely do most abdominal exercises you should not arch your back, as this can result in accidents. Try to use the natural bend of the spine instead of forcing it to arch unnaturally. Like with all other workouts, once you start to experience pain it is time to discontinue as pain is an indication that something is not right.
